One of the key wedding themes for the 2013 season is rural-luxe, such contrast to the sparkling glamorous themes that are also trending. Free-spirited, outdoorsy couples just love the understated look, nature-inspired, with the wind through their hair!
The Wild West inspired this breathtakingly gorgeous wedding photoshoot held at Hill Top Farm, North Yorkshire, close to Masham. Its rural location, complete with saloon bar and corale make it the perfect setting for our cowgirl’s and cowboy’s wedding.
The creative team, led by wedding planner and stylist, Nikki, photographer, Annemarie King and wedding and events florist, Christine Wright of Horti-couture with wedding dress designer and retailer, Andrea Bambridge. The rugged beauty of the prairies, the saloon-style venue and on trend colour theme, with the most gorgeous and flatteringly feminine shade of coral, inspired the team.
The attention to detail of this shoot and the clever use of the coral with contrasting navy blue, woven throughout the table settings, as well as the hessian, flowers, dress, saddle cloth and accessories allows the theme to flow, be easy-on-the-eye, and yet be uniquely inspiring at the same time.
Note how the Wild West theme is given an English twist with the beer glasses and the subtle use of union jacks that befits its Yorkshire setting and the clever place names visible through the clear glass dining plates.
The bride and groom models are the epitome of country-chic and the day-to-night look is achieved with the removal of the checked shirt to reveal a strapless bridal gown, with rag-twisted plaits, Navajo waistband and chunky tribal jewellery, topped off with more coral lipstick!
