How Do You Do a Styled Bridal Shoot

written by admin September 4, 2019

We live in a world saturated with visual information, social networks full of photographic works of all qualities, professional and independent, with all kinds of themes and motives. After this aesthetic/visual boom, today’s girls and future brides have grown up with access to all these media, being lovers of good taste and the latest trends in everything, which also includes the bridal theme and photographs of the wedding. For some years now, traditional wedding photos have been ruled out, with poses and forced smiles with each family member, all perfect and especially all the same.

Today each future bride wants to remember as a unique and original moment everything that surrounds the ceremony, the proposal, the celebration, in short, even the traditional wedding events have taken new modern and alternative touches. To achieve this, it is clear that the type of photography sought is also different and unique for each of them. Just as they take the time to look for referential images for every wedding detail, they do the same with photographers, wedding videographers, their portfolios and their style.

This allows them to be sure of the result they are looking for with the graphic media they choose, and, therefore, be sure of what service to hire and from whom. Especially because this kind of work is not done by any photographer, with regard to the ceremony, there are no repetitions, second shots or trial and error of any kind, you must try to have the necessary skill to find the desired result, in addition to Show empathy, sensitivity and passion for your work, to make sure you have the best that could be taken to your ceremony.

One of the most popular options among couples today is the pre-wedding photo sessions, which allows them to explore and exploit all their creativity and personality, with an infinite variety of styles, outside the aesthetic and time limits within the formality of the ceremony. They can be in any location that is special or significant for the couple, they make it alone or accompanied by family or pets, with themes of all kinds, any style of clothing (but coordinated or with consistency) and especially with lots of fun for the couple.

That also gives them that opportunity to use them to customize the ‘save the date’ for their friends, their invitations, their party, send them as a souvenir to their guests … which makes it an opportunity to include any props or implements that make more original the idea that the couple wants to develop together with their wedding photographer or wedding videographer.

Regardless of the trends for the date in terms of audio-visual wedding material, if it is personalized and made to your liking and ideals, it will be an immortal memory that you will treasure for a lifetime.

But it is never too much to take into account some tips of the moment:

Use real occasions

To convey magic and emotion to the photographs or videos, the idea is that the moment is really happening, with everyone enjoying it. This will make them more natural photos with true feelings.

Break the rules

The highlight to achieve an original photo report is to be it from the details of your ceremony: marrying in non-traditional locations such as a mountain or a place remodelled and decorated especially for the occasion, preparing together for the wedding or including New surprises to the ceremony. Things that reflect the personality of the couple at the wedding, and, therefore, in the photos.

Fun for family and friends

Includes unique recreational activities and special spotlights, as well as more casual planning of the order of reception. To keep all your guests entertained and amazed, making it reflected in the photos you take with them, with more cheerful and special expressions.

Bride and groom in action

The posed photos have gone out of fashion, and the new photographic approach lies in the wedding actions: chopping the cake, dancing, throwing the bouquet, the dynamics of the newlyweds, the emotional expressions, the laughter and the tears. Capturing these dynamic moments results in more intimate, more personal and more beautiful memories.

In addition to avoiding forced postures among the participants and discomfort, but this does not mean that we should not be aware of the posture we have, this can be practised and conversed with our photographer to advise us how to leave naturally but without the common mistakes That this entails.

‘Trash the dress’

It’s a trend to do a post-wedding session in which you can use the wedding dress in compromising situations where it no longer matters if it’s perfect or flawless. Do the session with paint, decals, with rain, in the water or on the shore of a beach without worrying about the consequences, knowing that the wedding dress will have no more uses. They are usually very fun and free sessions for the bride and groom, an opportunity to express themselves and do whatever they please with their wedding beauty. Of course, this will depend on everyone’s taste and if their outfits really have another purpose in the future.

Report the first meeting

The first meeting between the groom and the bride is this that happens minutes before the ceremony, where they have nerves and emotion to the surface. It is an opportunity to immortalize this moment for them to treasure it in the future, and it can be given the importance it deserves.

Photojournalism

This is a traditional style of photography for other class fields, but it is increasingly common to use it in the photographic medium of weddings, it leads to a more spontaneous and natural style, which must have some sensitivity to what you want to convey with each image captured and tell a story about what was experienced and felt at the wedding from the perspective of the photographer or the bride and groom.

Children

Spontaneity is the focus of today’s photography, and infants are experts in terms of this issue, when interacting with children there is a guarantee that the environment will become fun and with laughter, and the photos that reflect how the little ones live their way the ceremony have a good result.

Focus on the details

The bride usually spends a lot of time delegating and thinking about every detail that concerns decoration, suppliers, souvenirs and any other personal addition that makes it a unique wedding. The photographer is usually asked to integrate them with photographs with a certain emphasis or prominence depending on the case: centrepieces, drinks, the wedding table, snacks. Any of these can be the centre of attention of the occasional photograph or share the centre with those who wear the baton: the couple.

Everything focuses on personalization, the party, the ceremony, the bride and groom … and what is sought is that the photos are so personal, that they are images as unique as that moment for the bride and groom for more details check out Wure and they can assist you with your wedding photography.
