Flying Forties Inspiration
Due to popularity of TV shows, such as Mad Men, vintage trends are becoming ever more popular. Particularly prevalent in the latest bridal designer collections are peplum designs. A tight fitting tunic that is layered over either a strapless dress or trousers, brides with curvy figures are embracing the peplum design trend.
Peplum designs were made popular in the 1940’s by Christian Dior and remain a staple of their bridal and fashion collections today. This feminine style is ideal for brides with bigger busts as the design will give them an hour glass figure and will cinch in the waist.
